Congratumilations to the winners of the recently concluded MTV Pilipinas 2005!!!

No surprise here: Hale copped the Favorite New Artist (hoo-humm)… Can’t wait for the year-end, when the radio stations hand-out their choices… what’s the betting they will all be hailing to Hale???

The power of SMS: RiverMaya scooped both the Favorite Group (their 3rd?…, but i could be wrong) for "You’ll Be Safe Here" and Favorite Song for "Balisong"… awesome staying power these guys have… any raised eyebrows there? Can you just imagine the solo artist winners?…

Ter-no-rific!!!: Radioactive Sago Project added the MTV Pilipinas Best Video for "Astro" to the one they got from NU Rock last year … this is my fave mtv, so YEHEY!!!!  Drip got the Best Indie Video for "Song # 9", but I believe they should have gotten more… like Best Instructional Video (how to cook adobo), Best Actress in a Video (for the Lola), Best Spoken Line in a Video ("Kain na…"), etc… Correct me, please but are both these bands from Terno Records? If yes, and these bands, Up Dharma Down and Daydream Cycle, come from terno, too, well can’t wait to see the video of "Maybe" and "Roses and Cadillacs"….
