Awards are awards… no matter what…

Congrats sa CUESHE for winning Breakthrough Artists for the song Stay sa 2005 SOP Music Awards, pati na rin sa BAMBOO for snagging the Strictly Alternative Award for Hallelujah. This is their second one, having won Best Alternative last year for Noypi.

And of course, MYMP continue their winning streak by winning Viewers’ Choice Artists of the Year and Revive ‘05 Award for Tell Me Where It Hurts. Last year, they won Best Acoustic for A Little Bit.

Opinion Time:

Where it hurts? ….The following songs: Stay, The Day You Said Goodnight and Hallelujah lost for Viewers’ Choice Song of the Year… I didn’t watch the show, so I am not a viewer? Thank goodness!

Sweetly painful?… Bamboo has to win over such good bands as Orange and Lemons, Sugarfree and 6 Cycle Mind

What the Hale?… I would have wanted the band to win Breakthrough Artists if they were nominated for Broken Sonnet, which is really their break-out song… But Choice Song would have been an easy pick, and they would have given MYMP stiff competition as Choice Artists… Halers, why didn’t your SMS brigade work this time?

Basta win or lose, yehey pa rin para sa Pinoy music scene…!!!
