Pinoy Bandwagon

i know the MTV Asia Video Music Awards will come first, but i’d rather give due space to the 19th Awit Awards… they are sort of the equivalent of the Grammy’s here in the country… so, let’s get on with it..

i’ll give you a rundown of the nominees, at least for pinoy bands… note that there are usually five in a category…

note that Rivermaya, Bamboo, Hale, Orange and Lemons, perennial Awit winners Parokya Ni Edgar and South Border are prominent in the list, along with Mr. Pure Energy himself, Gary Valenciano (another Awit favorite)..

I am glad that Francis M, Mishka Adams and Gary Granada are up for a number of awards, too…

hmmm, ponder these:

Terno Records is still not a member of PARI… their artists are still missing…

EMI Records does not keep its sales records well… Bamboo and Hale are missing on the Best-Selling list…
